Music and stardom

When you find them on the stage you may think, you just go eat and drink and music is set. Just move around in the studios and see them when they are trying to fix word to word, compose the songs and then see how they are actually with their producers fighting over the beats and the lyrics of the song.
I was one day invited to go and see two different rehearsals of the best musicians you know in the City; Aline Gahongaire, Kitoko, Meddy, Mako Nikoshwa, Eric Senderi, Dr. Claude and then Sgt Robert (the army diva), I was astonished by how some of these musicians fight with rehearsing live, compose and sing, they all can compose but who can actually sing is a man and a woman of substance. Just walk around and prove me wrong,
Then the funny stories they have can immediately change their stressed minds to a free world and then you realize the reason why these musicians are always happy. to my surprise, they are friends when they are producing one song but find them in their different endeavors, they are talking about beef: (for those of you who don’t know what it means, it means having some misunderstanding with each other), you start to imagine if they are the ones you know out there in the streets of Kigali.
One thing that I learnt from them though is like one person once said; if we cannot love each other then lets respect each other for the sake of our share of country, culture and resources; so for them too when it comes to common interests they are one and their oneness directs to the development of each one of them.
Just sited down watching them and observing their behaviors and how they react to each other’s singing and composition, I honestly looked at them in their casual wear then I would advise them to mind their wear then what is the paparaza doing, please comment also on their dress cord.
May be a different situation with Sgt Robert, he is actually on his uttermost high in design when he is in his army uniform; you find him very smart, elegant and good looking in his uniform and the actions in his performances and rehearsals; you will find his karate style of actions overwhelmingly interesting and fills him with energy and zeal to accomplish his work, I mean in music but let see him another day too when he is in casual and see how he looks like.
But please guys, go out there encourage them, criticize them and advise them about their music and development of music in Rwanda, then we will have the Micheal Jackson’s, Lucky Dube’s and Bob Marley’s!, Rihanna, Janet Jackson and many more.
Irrespective of all though, they are giving us the best of them so lets give them the best of what we can offer.
